The Department of Agricultural Microbiology through its Student Association (Permahami) has once again fostered inter-association collaboration through a benchmarking visit with the Student Association of Agro-Industrial Technology (Himatitan) of Universitas Brawijaya. The activity took place on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Faculty of Agro-Industrial Technology, Universitas Brawijaya, from 12:45 to 15:30 WIB.
This benchmarking served as a valuable platform for students to exchange information, experiences, ideas, and innovations between associations. Permahami and Himatitan came together in the spirit of collaboration, transforming their respective experiences and insights into joint programs that are not only inspiring but also applicable.

The event was structured around two main concepts: material presentations and Focused Group Discussions (FGD). In the presentation session, each student association representative shared their programs, activities, and innovations. Meanwhile, the FGD provided an interactive forum to explore the presented materials in depth, foster discussion, and generate new ideas with the potential for future collaboration.
Through this initiative, it is hoped that stronger ties can be established between student associations across Indonesia, particularly in the fields of agriculture and industrial technology. The exchange of perspectives and experiences also underscores the role of students as agents of change, capable of contributing meaningfully to society.
In addition, this program supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), by fostering educational collaboration, building partnerships, and empowering youth organizations to contribute to sustainable development.
