The Agricultural Microbiology Student Association, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), successfully held the Micrographia Appreciation Night 2024, a two-day bonding event that took place from Saturday, November 2, to Sunday, November 3, 2024. This event aimed to strengthen relationships among members while providing a platform to showcase talents, creativity, and achievements. Held in a warm and inviting setting, the event blended a family-like atmosphere with artistic and cultural appreciation activities.
The first day began with a Treasure Hunt, an interactive game involving mixed teams that fostered camaraderie and teamwork among participants. The evening featured a vibrant talent show, where students presented various creative performances. Following the show, the audience participated in a vote to select the best performances. Awards were presented to participants with outstanding contributions and acts. The day concluded with the election of a new batch leader.
The second day started with a morning exercise session, followed by an outbound activity emphasizing teamwork and trust-building among members. The games, designed to involve all participants, created memorable moments of togetherness. The event concluded with a group prayer and a group photo session to commemorate the cherished memories of Micrographia Appreciation Night 2024.
The event aimed to strengthen the spirit of camaraderie and family within the Agricultural Microbiology Department at UGM. More than just a fun experience, Micrographia Appreciation Night 2024 served as a platform to build relationships and foster collaboration for the future. This initiative aligns with the department’s dedication to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education.
