The Agricultural Microbiology Study Program once again held its graduation ceremony for the April 2025 period on Monday, April 21, 2025. The event took place at the Agricultural Microbiology Library Room, AGLC Building, 4th Floor, starting at 1:00 PM, and was attended by all lecturers of the Agricultural Microbiology Study Program.
In his remarks, the Head of the Agricultural Microbiology Study Program, Ir. Ngadiman, M.Si., Ph.D., expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the two students who had demonstrated commitment and perseverance throughout their studies. He also reminded the graduates that education is not only about knowledge brought into the workplace but also about practicing integrity, maintaining the spirit of lifelong learning, and contributing meaningfully to society.
The lecturers also conveyed that the academic journey leading to this moment of success is something to be deeply grateful for. Learning does not stop at the university, as Ki Hajar Dewantara once stated, “everyone is a teacher.” Therefore, graduates are encouraged to always remain open to learning from anyone and anything. Furthermore, every responsibility entrusted to them should be carried out wholeheartedly until completion, as this reflects integrity and personal commitment.
They also emphasized an important life principle: there are two things we should forget—our kindness to others and the mistakes of others toward us. On the other hand, there are two things we must always remember—the kindness of others to us and our mistakes toward others. By living with this principle, graduates are expected to step into the world with an open heart, full of enthusiasm, and ready to bring benefits to society.
In this graduation period, two students were officially declared graduates and awarded the degree of Bachelor of Agriculture (S.P.): Dapati Prima Gea and Arya Dharma Sanjaya. Both students had successfully defended their theses earlier in April and expressed gratitude for being able to complete every stage of their studies in agricultural microbiology. The graduates also received congratulations from the attending lecturers.
This moment marked not only the culmination of their long academic journey but also the beginning of a new chapter in their professional lives. The event also reflected the Faculty of Agriculture’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the global goal of SDG 4: Quality Education.
Congratulations to both graduates on their success. May the knowledge they have gained bring blessings and benefits, as well as inspire other students to continue achieving excellence.
