The Undergraduate Program in Agricultural Microbiology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, successfully held its first graduation ceremony for the July 2025 period on Monday, July 21, 2025. This event marked an important academic milestone for students who have completed all courses and final assignments.

In this period, six students were officially declared graduates and awarded the title Bachelor of Agriculture (S.P.), namely: Fajar Nugrahanto, Rizky Octavya, Tasya Rindhy Bella A, Zikra Fathin Nabila, Fathia Thaurika Rahma, and Muhammad Sativa Arsya. The graduates expressed their gratitude for being able to complete all stages of their studies in the field of agricultural microbiology.

The ceremony took place at the Agricultural Microbiology Library Room and was attended by faculty members. In his remarks, Ir. Ngadiman, M.Si., Ph.D., Head of the Agricultural Microbiology Program, expressed his appreciation for the graduates’ perseverance and encouraged them to continue developing the knowledge they have acquired.

Another message was delivered by Prof. Ir. Irfan Dwidya Prijambada, M.Eng., Ph.D., who emphasized that the academic journey is only the beginning of entering the real world. He reminded students not to dwell too long in sorrow, as life must always move forward. “Alumni will leave a legacy, while students will create their own stories. Every challenge is simply part of the process—congratulations on beginning the next chapter of your life,” he said.

Armed with the knowledge and experiences gained during their studies, these six graduates are expected to become agents of change in various agricultural sectors, particularly in the development and utilization of microorganisms for sustainable agriculture. This event also reflects the Faculty of Agriculture’s commitment to supporting the global goal of SDG 4: Quality Education.

Congratulations to Fajar Nugrahanto, Rizky Octavya, Tasya Rindhy Bella A., Zikra Fathin Nabila, Fathia Thaurika Rahma, and Muhammad Sativa Arsya on their graduation in the first period of July 2025. May your future journey be bright and meaningful for the nation.
