The Department of Agricultural Microbiology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held its October yudisium ceremony on Friday, 17 October 2025, at the Department Library located on the 4th floor of the AGLC Building. The event, which took place from 13.00 to 14.00 WIB, was attended by all faculty members of the Department of Agricultural Microbiology.

During the ceremony, three students were officially declared graduates, namely Chandra Rizqullah Triananda, Rania, and Yena Amalia. A warm and celebratory atmosphere filled the room as lecturers congratulated the graduates for successfully completing their academic journey in the Agricultural Microbiology study program.

In his remarks, Yumechris Amekan, S.P., M.P., delivered an inspiring message to the new graduates:
“Congratulations on completing an important stage of your academic journey. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter, where the knowledge and values you have gained on campus will be tested in real life. Continue learning, stay humble, and become scientists who are not only intellectually capable but also wise and compassionate. I wish you success as you embark on this new path. May today’s achievement become a stepping stone toward making broader contributions to society. And don’t forget to fill out the tracer study.”

The yudisium ceremony served not only as a formal milestone marking the completion of undergraduate studies, but also as a symbolic transition into a new phase of life where graduates are expected to apply the knowledge and values they have developed throughout their education.

This activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, emphasizing the importance of improving educational quality and developing human resources who are ethical, competent, and capable of contributing positively to society and the environment.
