The Microbiological Agriculture program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), is renowned for its academic excellence and research contributions. In line with this tradition of excellence, Prof. Ir. Irfan Dwidya Prijambada, M.Eng., Ph.D., Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, UGM, has recently been awarded the prestigious title of Global Alumni Fellow from Osaka University. The award was presented at Osaka University on Friday (19/1), recognizing his outstanding contributions to academia and international collaboration. This honor further strengthens the relationship between UGM and Osaka University and highlights Prof. Irfan’s dedication to advancing agricultural science and technology on a global scale.

Furthermore, Ir. Donny Widianto, Ph.D., is actively engaged in collaborative research with Fuji Oils Japan, focusing on the fermentation process of cacao to improve the quality and sustainability of cacao products. In addition to his research work, he is also a member of the Environmental Commission (Komisi Lingkungan Hidup), contributing to various initiatives aimed at promoting environmental conservation and sustainable development practices. His role in both academia and environmental policy demonstrates UGM’s ongoing commitment to addressing critical global challenges through research and collaboration.
